The illigitimate reign of the custodians

As we read in the earlier post that Mason Remey had an agreement with the hands that 'Only if they follow everything Shoghi Effendi laid out in his plans for 1963, he would go along with them'. Remey gave time to the Hands so they could ponder over the matter and stay away from deviation.

Hands along with the Ruhiyyih had another corrupt plan. They went against the instructions and plan of Shoghi and instead called for an election of new IBC in 1961.

Remey saw the politics and bad tactics being played by those who had no authority to go against the First Guardian Shoghi, so he decided to refrain from what was not permitted in the Baha'i Faith and instead stay aloof from mischeif makers.

When matter escalated and Remey saw that the innocent Bahais are being strategically convinced, he decided to complete his argument by a formal declaration about his Guardianship in 1960.

His claim was irrefutable, logical and completely as per Baha'i principles. He was made the President of IBC by Shoghi Effendi which was UHJ in embryonic form. Ask any sane Bahai who could be the head of UHJ and they will reply it is only a Guardian who could be the head of UHJ. Where is the Guardian? and they have no response. Even after Abdul Baha stating in Will and Testament, Some Answered Questions and even Shoghi Effendi mentioning about continuation of Guardianship, the station without which the world order of Bahaullah would be mutilated was abondoned.

A headless bogus body was formed and named The UHJ. The Baha'i Faith till date has suffered tremendious losses due to the politics, harsh suffocating administration and mismanagement of UHJ. The numbers are declining year on year and it is only Guardianship that can save the Baha'i Faith from becoming a fossil.

Mason Ramey says: "They have no authority vested in themselves as Hands of the Faith to act, neither in their own capacity nor in any other capacity, save under the direction of the living Guardian of the Faith." (Remey, Proclamation to the Baha’is of the World)

NSA of France accepted the message of Mason Remey. As usual the Hands involved their lawyer in the matter of faith and later sent Abul Qasim Faizi to france to meet with the NSA and Bahais of France. Faizi dissolved the french NSA and called for a new election. Later to be the Third Guardian of the Baha'i Faith Joel Marangella argued on the basis of Abdul Bahas will & Testament that the hands had no authority over NSAs much less to dissolve them. Alas! the truthful words fell on deff ears and a new French NSA was politically selected.

Letter to all NSAs on July 5th 1960:

"[T]he believers everywhere should immediately cease associating, either by direct contact or by correspondence, with anyone who supports Mason Remey’s claim to be the Guardian of the Faith." (Ministry of Custodians, p. 209)

Ultimately, the actions of the Custodians in 1960 permanently fractured the outer administration of the faith. By deliberately choosing a headless administrative body over the divinely ordained line of Guardianship, the mainstream organization severed itself from the executive authority established by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The subsequent decades of declining numbers, rigid administrative control, and the suppression of free thought within that faction are the direct consequences of this initial deviation. History shows that no amount of legal maneuvering, political ostracization, or forced re-elections can replace the divine guidance of a living Guardian. For true Bahá'ís, the path forward remains clear: the World Order of Bahá'u'lláh cannot be preserved by a fossilized bureaucracy, but only by remaining loyal to the continuous, living Covenant and the true Guardianship that gives it life.
