Who are The Khanumists

I. The Mainstream Violation of Rúhíyyih Khánum and the Hands:

Friends! One of the reasons for this current state of affairs throughout the Bahá’í world today is that under the direction of Rúhíyyih Khánum and the “Hands,” their puppet headless “UHJ” was expressly instructed to allow the masses to enter their “fold” without being converted or even minimally informed about the provisions of the Holy Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh (Kitáb-i-‘Ahd) and the sacred Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

Rúhíyyih Khánum, in her own words, confesses that she counted on the masses being drawn to the 12 Principles of the Bahá’í Faith, such as the Oneness of Humanity and World Unity, while remaining completely ignorant of the Covenant. These individuals were never shown even a glimpse of the texts of the Covenant or the sacred document the Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

Innumerable testimonies from dissenters and survivors of the violating, headless “UHJ” and its false, covenant-breaking organization attest to this betrayal by the corrupt “Hands,” led by Rúhíyyih Khánum. After 1960, particularly in India, vast numbers of spiritually inclined individuals entered this sans-Guardian Bahá’í fold. They became, knowingly or unknowingly, followers of Rúhíyyih Khánum—never suspecting that she and her group had orchestrated the death of Shoghi Effendi in London in 1957 and subsequently hijacked the Bahá’í World Centre for their own empowerment and aggrandizement.

The Khánumists, having possession of the material Bahá’í properties and original physical writings, were arrogant in their hijacking—even as Muhammad-‘Alí and his party of “loyal Bahá’ís” (see “Master’s Last Tablet to America” ) held the keys to Bahjí and stole all the original writings of Bahá’u’lláh away from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá that were kept in two sealed trunks left to the Master by Bahá’u’lláh Himself. So now also, these ones—Rúhíyyih and the Hands and those who followed them (Khánumists)—were able, for a short while, to repeat the violation of Yahyá and Muhammad-‘Alí and temporarily gain the allegiance and support of the unsuspecting masses, and cull out a corrupt theologian clergy class die-hard loyal to their violation centered in Haifa. Those “literati” that wouldn’t go along with their scheme were expelled, forced to resign, or simply “lump it,” or for other reasons leave the group, thus decapitating the Bahá’í world of the academia Shoghi Effendi was attempting to raise up for Bahá’í Studies within his own lifetime. Only an elect few of which, due to their own personal experience, are gifted by God to be able to consort with the living Guardian in person, or any of those who remain firm in the Covenant today. Thus, the poison of violation, thwarting the rest from association, communion, and fellowship—cutting them off from the key information they need to complete their personal work.

There are many in the mainstream Bahá’í community today who reject the bogus UHJ and have accepted the Orthodox Bahá’í Faith—especially in Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Bahrain, Singapore, Australia, and Switzerland. However, to avoid being shunned by their friends and relatives, they have hidden their faith. Still, they are gradually working behind the scenes and will soon emerge as loyalists to the living Guardian, along with their family members.

II. Dealing with Khánumists (Covenant-breakers)

It is written in the scriptures that “he who sits with a leper gets leprosy” (See ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s “Last Tablet to America”), but it is also written that “Jesus walked amongst the people and healed them.” Today—though the violation of the “Hands” has spread worldwide, those who follow the living Guardian are free to circulate amongst all the people without personal worry. In fact, they may be able to do good in helping others. Now that we know that the Guardianship will never end, and that this is how we recognize the true Baha’i Faith, the violation of the “Hands” is inert and has no effect upon us at all.

Within the mainstream community of “Rúhíyyih Khánum and those that followed her,” there is a mixture of pure-of-heart people who are true Bahá’ís, and rabid covenant-breakers, that are in tight league with the violation of the Hands. For those who were raised in this community and have deep ties, this presents a grave problem. We have to all, every one of us, be able to distinguish, with our own eyes, between those we meet as to who is spiritual and positive, and those who are firm in the violation.

Now is the sounding bell and time for all the people to investigate the truth of the claims of the Bahá’í Faith, the foundation of its Covenant in the sacred Will and Testament of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, and make their choice. They can come towards the Orthodox Baha’i faith and join God’s heavenly army or remain obstinate and be replaced by others.

Thus they must be told only one simple FACT: the UHJ on Mt. Carmel is the wrong UHJ. It has no executive branch as stated on page 15 of the Will and Testament. Therefore, THEY are the Covenant-breakers.

The follow-up from them is obvious: “Where is the true living Guardian?”

Answer: It was established by Shoghi Effendi himself on January 9, 1951, and it had ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s spiritual son Charles Mason Remey as its president and executive. However, the majority of the “Hands,” led by Rúhíyyih Khánum, broke this covenant and dismantled the true UHJ in November of 1959 and then had all the Bahá’í world shun ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s spiritual son.

You can look up “Interregnum” in the basic Bahá’í dictionary by Wendi Momen or the Bahá’í Encyclopedia, or some other of their literature. It refers to the supposed “gap” where there was supposedly “no infallibility” during the ministry of the custodians, that is, the ministry of the “Hands.” The Hands stated that as Shoghi Effendi is infallible, and as the UHJ is infallible, and as “there was no ‘UHJ’ at the time of the passing of Shoghi Effendi” (that is the lie), therefore, they had to go from one point of infallibility (Shoghi Effendi) to another point of infallibility (the UHJ), which they would “elect” in 1963.

Thus, the interregnum is the period of time—about 7 years from 1957 on November 4, until April 21, 1963—when there was no infallibility at all and the Hands were in control. Now, it is a bold-faced lie that there was no UHJ, for the UHJ was set up by Shoghi Effendi himself in 1951, about 7 years’ overlap with his own ministry. At the moment of his passing, the conferred infallibility passed from Shoghi Effendi to the UHJ with ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s aghsán-son as its president.

Thus the Khánumists are the Covenant-breakers! They have no executive (Will and Testament, page 15)!
